I was in a courtyard of an old building with some people who were my work colleagues. They were all old Scandinavian men who kept slapping each other on the backs and shaking hands a lot. One of them asked me if I'd heard about the plane crash over Ireland and how it was a terrorist attack and all air travel had been banned and I couldn't go on holiday. When I woke up I listened very carefully to the news but there hadn't been a crash.

Last night the world was taken over by alien fish.  All the people were gone except for a small band of people who were on the bus at the time it happened.  They used one-eyed octopi to spy on us.  OH! Octospy/eye/pi!  Crikey, even my subconscious likes puns.  Anyway, I shot them all in the eye and the aliens got angry and Sean Bean showed up with a pony tail and acted all hard but I'd already killed all the fish, so really, what's the point of showing up late with a stupid hairdo?

And the thing is, they needed the water.  Even the octospies were in a fish tank.  So how did they manage to kill everyone and why did they care if 10 people weren't dead?  They could have left us be, and it's not like 10 of us could poison all the oceans, and if we did we'd die too.  Stupid fish.

I dreamt that one of the electricians told me two people he knew were dying, and that's why he was sad.  I was very confused when I saw him today and couldn't work out whether I should say something or not.

I was watching Saturday morning TV with Super Monkey and my brother. And I said something to my brother and Super Monkey told me off for talking. They weren't even saying anything on the TV; they were doing some sort of obstacle course. It made me very sad. sad

I didn't sleep very well either.  My dreams were dark and disturbing and kept waking me up.  I am very tired today and feeling delicate.  I've had my peril sensitive snood on for most of the day.

For a couple of years now I've been having regular dreams with the same recurring theme. I'll be back at university and realise I don't know what my timetable is or where the room for my next lecture is, or I'll be doing my MA and find out that I've got an essay to do and I haven't been to any of the classes. But last night I dreamed I had just found out that I had to do an essay on Deleuze. After the initial panic that I was never going to get it done on time and didn't know anything about Deleuze, I rechecked the deadline and found I had two weeks and then I found the two most important books already on my bookshelf.

I'm not sure what this could mean but I'm certain it's significant in some way.

I quite often have school / uni dreams this time of year. I put it down to years of exam stress.

Last night I dreamt I was very good at sums. Which is good because I am pretty ace at sums.

Last night I dreamed I lived at the bottom of a mountain in France. I was married to a very rich Frenchman who worked in Paris, which meant I didn't have to work so I could sit at home all day baking and knitting. I'm hoping it was prophetic.
